Nominations for the Hall of Fame
Minnesota's insurance industry is rich and storied, and there are many devoted men and women who have had innovative, hard working careers. Our goal is to honor them, but we need your help. Your nomination today brings to the forefront your friends, neighbors, and colleagues who have dedicated their time and energy into building the success of the insurance industry in Minnesota.
Please note that only the information that is provided here will be taken into account as the nomination committee meets to review submissions, so please be sure to complete each criteria. Letters of recommendation are not required, but may be submitted in the form or by email to rmi@stthomas.edu.
Eligibility Requirements for the MN Insurance Hall of Fame
The Minnesota Insurance Hall of Fame was established to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the insurance, risk management, and actuarial science industry. We seek nominees who are widely recognized within the industry as leaders or innovators, and who have greatly contributed to the success of their businesses and their ability to serve the public.
The listed criteria serve as guidelines and are not exhaustive. The selection committee reserves the right to consider nominations that include other important factors, as deemed appropriate.
Nominators are strongly encouraged to provide supporting documentation that highlights the nominee’s qualifications, such as letters of support, published articles, and other relevant materials. The Hall of Fame Board members are available to offer guidance and assistance with the application process upon request.
To be eligible for consideration, nominees must:
- Have made significant industry contributions
- Exceptional lifetime accomplishments
- Have a Minnesota connection
- Serve as role model for others in the industry
- Exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Have contributed to their community
